Aesthetics and History of Arts
Upcoming events and meetings Update: 30/08/2009
Welcome to the website of Bigaku Bijutusshigau Kenkyushitsu (Course of Aesthetics and History of Arts) at Kyoto Daigaku Daigaku-in Bungaku Kenkyu-ka (Graduate School of Letters, Kyoto University)!
I maintain these English pages in order to help non-Japanese readers understand a little bit about what's going on in the field of aesthetics and art history in Japan, by informing activities related to our department. I will try to translate as much as I can, but leave those parts in original Japanese (with Romaji) which I think it's too hard or meaningless to put into English. Except terms which have the already fixed English version, the responsibility of the wording lies on the translator.
The English pages will be completed by the end of March.
If you don't get the page in multilingual appearance, try changing the encoding of your browser to UTF-8.
